The galvanometer is an excellent vector scanning device. It is a special type of oscillating motor, whose basic principle is to generate torque in a magnetic field through an energized coil. However, unlike a rotating motor, a reset torque is added to the rotor through mechanical springs or electronic methods, and the magnitude is proportional to the angle at which the rotor deviates from the equilibrium position. When the coil is supplied with a certain current and the rotor deflects to a certain angle, the electromagnetic torque is equal to the restoring torque, so it cannot rotate like a regular motor and can only deflect. The deflection angle is positive to the current, just like an ammeter. Therefore, the galvanometer is also called an ammeter scanning galvanometer.
Simply put, the galvanometer system is a high-precision, high-speed servo control system composed of a drive board and a high-speed swing motor, mainly used for laser marking, laser engraving, stage lighting control, laser drilling, dot matrix laser medical beauty industry, etc.
